McKinley Building Corporation was honored to join The Salvation Army of Cape Fear for the dedication and ribbon-cutting of the Center of Hope — a project more than 10 years in the making and deeply rooted in the mission to serve our area’s most vulnerable. The 20,500-square-foot facility, located on a 22-acre site, includes 75 beds, seven private family suites, a full-service kitchen, case management offices, and welcoming community gathering spaces. In addition to providing shelter, the facility offers daily meals, life skills programming, and supportive services designed to help individuals and families transition toward long-term stability.
With more than 14 years of partnership with The Salvation Army, this project holds special meaning for the McKinley team. It reflects the kind of work we’re proud to stand behind—thoughtfully built, community-centered, and purpose-driven. We’re grateful to have partnered with LS3P Associates and McKim & Creed, Inc. to bring this vision to life, and we look forward to seeing the impact this space will have in the many years to come.
